Memorials 
Memorial gifts to Yankton College in the name of a loved one can be a wonderful way of remembering a family member or important person in your life.  Gifts of $25 or more are usually placed in the general scholarship fund (unless noted otherwise), acknowledged to the family of the one memorialized and mentioned in the annual College BULLETIN.  

Bequests
Remembering Yankton College in your will or other estate planning is also a fitting way of saying "thank you" for all of those people at Yankton College who made a difference in your life.

Gifts of $500 or more may be designated for annual scholarships or a range of other programs and services of Yankton College.  Suggestions for designating a bequest to Yankton College include:

Building and Facility - Help ensure that the Yankton College office is well maintained and adequate to serve the on-going missions of the college.

Archives & Memoribalia - The college has on-going needs for support of its efforts to preserve and properly display archival documents and college memoribalia.

Educational Programs - Support a wide range of educational programs and partnerships to help the college continue its commitment to the liberal arts.

Reunions - You can make a gift to be used to support reunions and/or other alumni events.

Scholarship -  The college has a general scholarship fund, where unless specifically named, where unspecified gifts are designated.  (For information on creating a scholarship in perpetuity, in your name, contact Yankton College. 

Unrestricted - You can allow the Board of Trustees to use your gift wherever the need is greatest, a choice that provides the most flexibility for the needs of Yankton College.

Tax Deductible
Because Yankton College is a non-profit organization, gifts are eligible to be tax deductible, depending on your personal tax situation.
